Many Types of Bets

Whether you play roulette online or in a live casino, you make bets on where you believe the ball will come to rest on the wheel. There are many different bets you can make. You can place inside and outside bets. Inside bets involve guessing on which individual number the ball will land; for outside bets you cover fields or groups of numbers. Inside numbers pay 35 to 1.

Some people have a favorite set of maybe half a dozen numbers, birthdays, anniversary dates, etc. They'll place one betting unit on each of those numbers: if one of them comes up, they collect 35 units.
